MEET THE SAILORS

Gary-Captain. Also rancher, teacher, principal, mechanic, bulldozer, fisherman--this is a captain that has worn a lot of hats, but most importantly, World's Best Dad. Always dreaming and pushing the limits of his own adventures, Gary is taking the next step and buying a sailboat of his very own to see places that are rarely seen and share this time with his family. Retired and enjoying the freedom, this captain is ready for any challenge thrown his way.

Kris-First Mate (married to Gary). The mastermind behind this idea, Kris loves the feel of the sea breeze on her face and can't wait to see new places. This mom's motto has been, "Show me that horizon" which has brought on many wonderful adventures for all. Oh, and she just hates fishing. As we're sure you can tell. Yeah, you don't believe us, do you? :)

Krystal-Skipper. She is a fearless Skipper that is right at the helm with the Captain. She lives through boring classes by imagining the freedom of Alaskan summer and herself on the bow of a boat. A voracious reader, Krystal is learning all she can about sailing and can't wait to test our her skills!

April-Stewardess & Deckhand. Don't let her size fool you! (5'2) She is an able bodied seaman that is ready to catch the biggest fish! Government worker by day, she lives for the fun that the summer brings with her family as they go on adventures together.

Jason (married to April)-Quartermaster. Perhaps the most skilled at the mathematical side of sailing from his job as an accountant, Jason won't let you down as he helps to find the right wind in the sails (or wield a blue bucket).  He loves to be with the family and enjoy the fun that accompanies sharing an adventure with the ones you love.

Alyssa-Stewardess & Deckhand. An avid lover of all things outdoors, Alyssa is excited for this new adventure and considers herself to be an able crew hand willing to learn all that it take to sail a boat! A school teacher during the year, Alyssa is always excited to take adventures in the summer and explore new places.

Capt'n Jack (married to Alyssa)- Boat Swain. Nicknamed Capt'n for his pirate qualities, Jack has your back no matter what needs arise on boat! A fishing guide in Alaska for 3 years, he truly  has the blood of a sailor! Still getting his feet wet with the ins and outs of sailing, he is excited for the new opportunities to explore places that are seen by few.
